The client presented an idea for training hockey players to play by feel and not by sight: a device easily attached to and removed from any stick that obscures the view of the blade and puck. Their inspiration: a frisbee screwed to a hockey stick. Our solution: a refined, injection molded shape with a slide on bracket and velcro closure. We supplied CAD work, prototypes, packaging and merchandising concepts, and print ads.
We developed the product - then the client needed packaging that described its unique function and many benefits. The printed insert, covered with a plastic lens, also serves to hold instructions on the back.
