Inline rollerskating developed from ice hockey players needing a simple means to practice skating during the off-season. As the sport grew into a recreational activity for everyone, it also grew away from its hockey roots. At the same time, however, hockey was becoming popular in places where ice was a rare commodity. We had come full circle. We were asked to design one of the first inline skates specifically for roller hockey. Special attention was given to areas that would develop surface wear. The styling is reminiscent of ice hockey and a ventilated toe box helps to cool the interior of the skate. |

With the increasing popularity of roller hockey came the need for proper equipment. The sport is a little different than its older brother: ice hockey. When you’re playing on asphalt in the Florida or California sun, you need to be cool: look it and feel it. This line of equipment features lightweight, vented construction. The shinguard and elbow pad have wraparound slash guards which also provide a snug fit.
