Baseball is steeped in tradition. But chest protectors are typically heavy and labor intensive. While respecting the look, we brought new materials and processes to this catcher’s gear. Our design utilizes a removable, articulated, thermoformed pad inside a nylon and mesh shell. This provides a form-fitting, lightweight, ventilated, and cost-effective product. And you can wash it - don't try that on your old equipment!
This leg guard introduces innovation by design. A unique, customizable strapping system, which wraps around the calf of the player, provides a better fit and helps prevent it from sliding around on the leg. Congratulations to the 2000 USA women’s Olympic softball team which used this shinguard and chest protector design and went on to capture the gold medal.
